3 Top Indicators for Success in Wine + Data in 2024

As you read this newsletter today, our last issue of 2023, the core team at Enolytics will be tucked away at a retreat outside of Atlanta. We’ll be brainstorming, moonshot-ing, and generally creating roadmaps to our company’s destinations for the months and years to come.

Full disclosure: We’re cheating a bit. We’ve already got a jump on creating a roadmap to one destination in particular, namely, empowering wineries with effective, strategic use of your own data.

We have a jump on it, I mean to say, because that destination is in a way already here. What I envision the team doing in the near future is built on the foundation of what we are already doing now:

We build robust and powerful software.

We empower people around data and technology.

We help wineries to thrive, and your businesses to succeed.

It’s exciting to plan all the ways that we can enliven these objectives with fresh approaches. What’s most heartening is the momentum and traction we have seen in the industry over the past few years and within the last few months in particular.

Here are three of the most salient indicators of that traction, to my eye:

  1. The barriers to entry continue to break down, when it comes to who can access data and put it to use on their own behalf. Leaders in this space are stepping up and creating new revenue opportunities with their data.

  2. The ecosystem of partnerships continues to grow, most especially beyond the wine world itself as Enolytics AI bolsters its footprint of third party data sources.

  3. Interest in the data is keen, as you know. A newer and increased interest in the technology itself indicates a broader, creative vision for what’s possible with these tools.

That’s what is top of mind, and on the drawing board so to speak, this week at our team retreat. It’s also what you’ll be seeing from us in 2024 and beyond, and we couldn’t be happier to be in this community with you together.

Thank you, most sincerely —
Cathy
