Using AI for Good Wine Business: A Clear Example

Artificial Intelligence, or AI, is tossed around a lot these days. How is it put to good use for wine business?

One clear example is notetaker technology, and the image at the top of this post is a real-life example of how this looks. Here’s a quick FAQ.

How does it work?

Notetaker technology records and transcribes Zoom workshops. The recordings are available within seconds after the workshop finishes.

What are the advantages?

The recordings “archive” the workshop, so that the user can go back to it and reference what they need to know at a later time, and on their own schedule. Which means that convenience and productivity is one advantage.

A second advantage is that the transcription is searchable, so that the user can easily find a specific word or phrase they’re looking for, that was discussed during the Zoom session. “Customers at risk,” for example, or “vintage” or “glass pours.” The user clicks on the text bubble of that word or words, and the video of that specific section of the workshop will immediately replay. Again, it’s about convenience, time savings and productivity.

Notice also the “Your Questions” panel at the right of the image at the top of this post. The notetaker has transcribed and pulled out that language of questions, each of which work like links to take you right to that part of the recording and transcription of the session.

Do I have to do anything extra, or learn anything new?

You do not have to do anything extra. Obviously you’ll be seeing the interface for the first time so that will be new, but it’s intuitive and easy to use. The image at the top of this post shows an illustration of what you’ll see.

Does that make sense?

Bottom line, from our perspective, is using AI (and technology more generally) to increase your productivity, time savings and of course sales.

As always, please let me know if you have any questions or etc —

Thank you,
