Wine Data Superhero: Rosie Behrens of Sixmilebridge, Paso Robles

"I'm nerding the h*ll out over here!"

It was the quote of the week. I giggled when I heard it, and I've thought of it a hundred times since Rosie Behrens said it.

Rosie is the DTC Manager at Sixmilebridge in the Adelaida District of Paso Robles. She has quickly become a superuser of Enolytics' software, and she's skyrocketed to the top of our wine data superhero series.

Here's one example why: Rosie nerds the h*ll out by offering each of her guests wine recommendations that are customized to their previous purchasing behavior. And she uses data and technology to do it.

At a recent weekend event, for example, each registered guest was handed a personalized order form that was divided into three sections:

  1. Wines that person loves and has purchased in volume in the past

  2. "Last call" wines, which are limited-inventory wines that that person has previously purchased

  3. Recommended wines that the person is likely to enjoy, based on previous purchases

All of that information is easily accessed within Enolytics' software. Yes, it takes time to customize such an order form one guest at a time, but it's a superhero effort made easier by smart thinking and creative applications of the technology.

It's an exceptional use-case, of putting data to use in order to sell more wine.

Most importantly, Sixmilebridge delivered an exceptional and personalized experience to their customers. Even with lots of sophisticated technology running behind the scenes, it came down to one person being seen by another person, and talking about wines they enjoy.

That's the biggest superhero win of all.

Well done, Rosie! And thank you for your work.
