8 Great Data Questions for Selling More Wine

"How do people use Enolytics?"

We love this question. It gives us a chance to demonstrate what the software can do and, more importantly, it provides insight into the questions that Enolytics' users are asking, especially at this challenging time in the industry.

How can I put my data to use, to sell more wine?

That's the underlying question, that wineries are asking it in a variety of ways through our Help Desk and Support Portal. (Here's a preview of the Support Portal that anyone can see. For subscribers, click on your initials in the upper right-hand corner once you're logged in, then link to Support Portal.)

If the people already using Enolytics are asking these questions, we thought you might be asking too. So we pulled a few examples together, below. It's pretty easy to see the train of thought, in terms of what the wineries will DO with this information.

We hope you'll be as inspired as we are by the creativity we see every day, now that wineries are seizing the opportunity that's inherent in their own data.

  • Which of my customers, exactly, visited my Tasting Room in the last 18 months?

  • How do I track the performance of a campaign, for two specific wines within a specific period of time?

  • How do I create a list of my customers who were born in the month of June?

  • Which customers spent the most in the last 18 months, who are not Wine Club members?

  • What is my average customer value for each of my individual Club tiers?

  • I use both the DTC and depletion platforms. How do I filter the data by product and geography, in the different channels?

  • What does my "abandoned carts" report tell me about my products and customer profiles?

  • How can I easily find my first-time customers?

Usually Chris answers each of these questions with a loom video, showing users how to get to the answer for themselves. He archives the questions, and they fertilize ideas for the next software update or functionality.

You can get a taste of these videos "responses" here.

We love these questions. We love that people are asking them, and pushing the envelope of what's possible with wine data.

How about you? Are you ready to ask questions of how to put your own data to use, to sell more wine? I hope so. We're here to help. Reach out any time, by email or phone (+1.702.528.3717) or schedule time to talk.

I look forward to that.
